Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin, custom crated shells which are fitted over existing teeth to address issues including:

  • Crooked teeth.
  • Misshapen teeth.
  • Severely discoloured or stained teeth.
  • Teeth that are too small or large.
  • Unwanted or uneven spaces.
  • Worn or chipped teeth.
  • Cosmetically, to create a uniform, white, healthy smile.

Veneers can completely transform your teeth and smile. They are often effective alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating many dental conditions. Veneers represent a massive innovation in cosmetic dentistry and are a strong, functional and aesthetically pleasing restorative technique. Being notoriously difficult to perfect our experienced, innovative dentists will go to great lengths to create veneers that will exceed even your expectations.

What Does Getting Porcelain Veneers Involve?

Getting veneers usually requires two visits to complete the process, with little or no anesthesia required during the procedure. The teeth are prepared by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow for the thickness of the veneer. An impression of the teeth is taken and a shade will then be chosen by you and the dentist. Your dentist will then expertly design your veneers.

On the second visit the teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to achieve a durable bond. Bonding cement is then placed between the tooth and veneer and a light beam is used to harden and set the bond.

If you are suffering from any of the above conditions or are generally unsatisfied with your teeth, contact our friendly team to arrange your custom veneers.
