IV Sedation (Sleep Dentistry)

Intravenous Sedation or ‘Sleep Dentistry’ is the ideal option for anxious patients to experience their dental treatment in a relaxed manner to ensure their experience is a positive one. Unlike a general anaesthetic, patients under IV Sedation will be partially conscious, experiencing a feeling of deep relaxation, where time passes very quickly and no pain is experienced. Upon awakening patients will remember little or no portion of their treatment. This is also an effective option for patients who require complex treatment or those undergoing multiple treatments in a single session.
